A 3D model is created from a collection of high resolution macro product photos. The model is then composited into images based on position and layout needs. Lighting and shadows are applied, and then the color tones are adjusted to fit the scene.
These background scenes are either photographic, or generated using artificial intelligence. The fire hat, rocks, and farmer images were A.I. generated, and the forklift driver, warehouse hands, and construction foreman were stock images selected by client.
3D Rendering and
Artificial Intelligence
3D renders can often have problems that are much easier to fix in post, rather than spend time and money re-adjusting, and then re-rendering the image. Especially when you have a series of images you're working with. Matching colors to proper callouts, matching contrast and tone of the overall family, adding or removing light sources, repairing topology (surface) tears and breaks, removing unwanted reflections or anomalies, and compositing options from other renders. These things can take your 3D rendered images to the next level.
3D Render Cleanups
Unwanted
Reflections
This set of images had the tracks reflecting up onto the main body. Client wanted them removed, along with some offensive highlights. So rather than re-rendering all 20 images, we retouched each image as needed. And, of course, we adjusted and matched color as a family.
