Motion adds a dynamic and visually appealing element to your content. The movement and animation capture viewers' attention, making your message more engaging and memorable.

Animating Still Images

Animating a still image requires creativity, a good understanding of keyframing techniques, and familiarity with the animation software you're using. It's a versatile technique that can bring static visuals to life and add a dynamic element to your projects.
Video editing is a powerful tool for storytelling. By arranging and combining footage, you can craft a narrative that engages and captivates your audience. Editing allows you to control the pacing, sequence of events, and overall flow of the story.

Music Lyric Video

Lyric videos have become a popular medium for artists to connect with their audience, especially on platforms like YouTube and social media. They provide a visual way for listeners to engage with the lyrics of a song. Lyrics can be synced to verses, sub-verses, or individual words, giving the video a more dynamic feel.
Below are some samplers of my lyric videos.
This was one of the most enjoyable After Effects projects I have done. I illustrated each of the boot up screens, from the movie Hackers, and synced the animations to the sound of the actual movie scene. I am quite proud of the results.

Logo Reveals

Logo reveals are a fun and dynamic way to draw attention to your brand. They can be stand alone clips for website landing pages and Facebook ads and movies, or intros/outros for YouTube videos.
Instagram Reels can help you engage with your audience, increase visibility, and create dynamic and entertaining content. Reels provide a creative and interactive space for content creators, businesses, and individuals to connect with their audience in a more dynamic way.

A cinemagraph is a combination of a still image and video frames, where most of the scene is stationary, while seced elements move on a continuous loop.

Cinemagraphs

A photograph is a still image that has had pixels moved, in a looping fashion, to create motion. While technically a cinemagraph, the technique is different. Photographs do not use video frames.

My big hobby is World of Warcraft, so I thought it would be fun to start a YouTube channel, using my graphic skills to create visuals and tutorials for the game. I use elements, like graphics, music and sounds, along with character animations, pulled from the game, to create an environment for presenting the topics in my videos, that's like being in the game. If interested, feel free to have a look.

These animations were done frame by frame, adjusting each element by hand. It's the old fashioned approach to animating modern pixels in a still image.
